Enjoy meals in our spacious, well-lit main dining room, open everyday for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Residents who require assistance with feeding are encouraged to dine in the dayroom. The Rehab Unit dining room offers a smaller, more intimate dining experience for those with us for short term rehab.
Our menus are written in house by the Food & Nutrition Director and include input from our residents to create our home like meals. Our Registered Dietitian routinely reviews residents to maintain optimal nutritional status.
Daily “Selective Menus” include options for entrees, sides, freshly made chef salads, and soup with choice of sandwich. Staff assists residents to make meal selections as needed. We pride ourselves in scratch made meals, breads and desserts. Families are welcome to come dine with us and may purchase meals at the main nurses station.

Melinda has been consulting as our Registered Dietitian since August 2013. She completed her BS in Food Science with emphasis on research and development of Food Products at NC State University. Melinda earned her Masters of Education in Foods and Nutrition from UNC-Greensboro in 1983 has been a Registered Dietitian for 35 years. She develops nutritional plans and counsels residents on special diet modifications.
